Yes, still it is. However, it seems to be only a visual bug in Natty.
The progress bar behaves much the same, but the actual brightness now
follows commands.

I have had this problem consistently through several versions of ubuntu,

It seems fixed, of a sort. Still here the fact that the evolution
windows is much more resizeable if the buttons are not showed.

Reproduced with 2 different files on Totem , both longer than 10
minutes. Sometimes takes a couple drag/drops of the slider to
reproduce.
The files are ogg's made with Sound Juicer 2.32.
