I have just logged into gnome from unity and this bug is still there.

I' ve got a little time today so I tested some things
I am using Ubuntu Natty with Unity Dekstop.
- When i deactivate the Stylus as extended Device in Gimp, Gimp works
properly.
- When i start my system as Ubuntu classic without effects, i can configure the
Stylus to screen (Extended Device in
Nautilus must have read your logs wrong and got confused and did not
launch correctly!

After reformatting and reinstalling Ubuntu, I still receive the terminal
output, so it is in fact a bug in Gnome.

I can confirm this bug. I'd like to add, in case it helps, that the
readings for battery energy seems to be off by a factor of 10. Please
notice the "Energy when full" reading. I have seen that symptom in the
"Energy" too.
