I have upgraded both librsvg (2.34.0-0ubuntu4)
and gdk-pixbuf (2.23.3-0ubuntu3) packages.
I do not have any issues with png nor svg image rendering.
But I still get en error during the upgrading process of both librsvg and
gdkpixbuf:
Postinstallation script error, error on configuring librsvg2-co
Try launching and quitting app quickly. I can break it in less than a
minute this way.

this would happen if ~/.xsession-errors is not a regular file, i. e.
symlink to a nonexisting file, or a pipe or something. So in your case
/dev/null is not S_ISREG, so it would fall back to creating a new file.

Additional info (I am using an Intel GPU, floaters screensaver with
custom image) : when the screen hangs, the mouse cursor still reacts. I
manage to find the password field, type it, and unlock the screen (the
same result can be obtained with gnome-screensaver-command on another
tty).

could cause librsvg2-common.postinst to exit with an error status is if
‘dpkg-architecture -qDEB_HOST_MULTIARCH’ failed, so this is probably a

By accident, I discovered that clicking Continue without checking the
box still leaves the connection functional. It seems that the app is
remembering the setting in terms of connecting, and only forgetting in
terms of popping up the dialog.
The good news is that clicking "Continue" is far easier

I'll go ahead and try this as well. I just found out that it still
happens without screensaver. I use a small script to use my computer as
an alarm it uses the following:
rtcwake
pm-suspend
xset dpms force off
Not sure which one is causing it to still happen but I'll try disabling VBlank.

i have not seen it again (though apport does not show crashes after the
release, so maybe it happens silently?). from upstream comment it looks
like it would only show up during an upgrade, so maybe we would not

@ tkoun & UbuntuTeam : I don't think Ubuntu can revert compiz to 0.8.6 version
in Natty. This would break Unity that is the real new stuff in Natty. And, I
think the bug is more trivial than we think, the difficult is to find it in the
code.
