I can confirm this bug. I upgraded my ubuntu from maverick to natty

Hi I just read some thread in a gentoo forum and it seems as if glib needs
dconf to store settings.
So I just manually installed "dconf-tools", "libdconf0" and "libdconf-dbus-1-0"
and now it works.
I think this is just a missing dependancy for either glib or unity.

The theme also does not seem to be applied to the icons in nautilus
either. It seems the theme only gets applied to the window borders.

Happened to me when using Disk Utility (while running a CD version of
Ubuntu) to check and if necessary correct file errors on the disk which
contains both Windows and Ubuntu in separate bootable partitions. The
Ubuntu partition no longer boots past login, hence the need to test the
disc.

I get a similar issue, the screen saver works fine until I enter my
password to unlock. at which time the screen freezes on the last screen
saver image until I kill the gnome-screensav process

Also with recent update of gdm (2.30.0-0ubuntu5.2) and linux kernel
(2.6.32.32.38) totem Movie Player didn't regain its video scaling
abilities.
Am I really the only one experiencing this?? How can that be? Any help?

better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privile
Bug is still alive and kicking. My HP g60 125nr does this and it drives
me nuts. If we can get a discharge rate (Wh/time) isn't it just simple
arithmetic to get at least a half-decent fallback routine should the
current implementation fail/time out? I've had the stock battery
