I can confirm this as well. Notably, I'm using Compiz, not Metacity. If
the Gnome Panel is present on the lower of the two screens, it does not
reserve a space for itself, and maximized windows fill the space behind
it, meaning that the title bar is occluded by the panel.

I get a different SIGSEGV when trying to restore from a working instance
of Evolution/MAPI.
The import works all right and creates the account. I get SIGSEGV when
going online (sorry, no backtrace here):

I upgraded Ubuntu today with the quasi-daily upgrates. The only update of today
is gdm 2.30.5-0ubuntu4.1
Next time I logged in:
- a dialog in english after login ask me to rename "Bureau" to "Desktop",
"Vidéos" to "Videos"
The workaround (b) did not work for me initially. I solved it by adding
chown $USER $auth
to the end of the Default-script.

I have the same problem, it's not fixed in Empathy 2.32.1 [Ubuntu
10.10].
Some observations from others' comments as well as a bit of messing
around with it:
*the window will expand rather than wrap text
*this only happens in chatrooms (as opposed to private conversations)
*this does not happen i
Oh, also for now I am dealing with the issue by just resizing the
contact list to a big enough size to prevent the expansion. Users should
not have to worry about things like this in the long term, but it is a
decent short term solution for myself.

someone used to work on Lucid to find the print option. That is the point
here. Unity has an interface that focuses buttons/icons instead of menus. In

2.32.0-0ubuntu2.2 when I right-click on a .iso image file and open it
with Brasero. It seems like this happens when I put a CD/DVD in the
drive and launch Brasero so that the CD/DVD will be recognized while
Brasero is still loadin

There's a very similar bug in maverick, see Bug #746796. The important part of
the problem seems to be that we upgraded from a backported gdm version to a
security update gdm version.
