this power management frenzy? Seems like I'll have to pull Linux off my
peer's machines, since it just behaves badly -- even if it's the
machines behaving badly, but this does not count as long as they work in
the preinstalled Win

I have the same issue with usb-creator. It picks-up my kubuntu 10.04
alternate.iso just fine (I assume because The Powers have decided to
include a joliet file system in the (k)ubuntu installation disks (so
this doesn't have to be fixed?). However, my two puppy installation
disks for my dell i8k do

f-spot worked fine with UTF-8 path until I've installed Maverick with f-spot
0.8.0. Currently thumbnails does not appear and the application crushes each
time I choose to display an image yielding the aforementioned stuck trace.

When I have totem playing a movie after the movie finishes playing the
computer wont kick into sleep mode, because totem will not close out,
even though the movie has stopped. I wonder if you can make totem

Yet all apps in Unity open http links in firefox. Even in firefox, i made sure
that firefox is not selfchecking and not set as default browser. still the

its indeed one of the most annoying things for people in Ubuntu. though
i think it might be possible to implement in palimpsest(gnome-disk-
utility) nautilus is a little unrelated maybe.
