still referencing Python 2.6 when it tries to build the package for
Python 2.7. Cause is currently unknown.

Hi, I've just installed version 2:3.5.4~dfsg-1ubuntu8.1and it seem to be
okay. I did a quick test with a 1.2Mb file from my machine to the
network server, and it went back and forth fine. I did this both before
and after a reboot, just to make sure the new library was being used.

ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.2
I removed ttf-mscorefonts-installer, but still have the problem (and
still get the same result of fc-math Symbol).
fc-match --verbose Symbol|grep file gives me:
file:
"/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-symbol-replaceme
With latest libdmapsharing2 packages, I noticed this in my .xsession-
errors file:
