Yes, that's most likely a duplicate. There's no real ETA, but the patch
has been committed in the series that will go into Natty, and it will
probably be released in a few weeks at most; then it will be up to
Ubuntu to backport it, but that shouldn't be an issue.

I am experiencing same behavior on newly installed Ubuntu 10.10 AMD 64. First
time I have noticed this was after installation of NVidia drivers, but actually
it was the first time I have restarted the computer. Problem was appearing ever
sync irregularly.

You can cancel this bug report. It was one of a series of errors that came
up during installation that turned out to be the result of a faulty

Thanks for the fix, Antonius. It worked for me. I have been running
10.10 amd64 2 weeks prior to official release and just got this error
for the first time this morning. I have run gedit numerous times the
last 6 weeks in 10.10 without getting this error message.
