I am still seeing this issue in Maverick. When trying to burn an image
to a blank DVD, Brasero reports that the DVD is blank but has only
1016MB free.
I haven't experimented with anything other than burning an ISO to DVD,
nor have I checked this on any machine other than my Lenovo T61.

My machines affected were also i7. For my main machine the OS is on the
SSD while /home is on striped spinning media (similar throughput to SSD,
higher latency).
The sleep from comment #68 fixed it for me too. Looks like some sort of
race condition when loading things.

As I can see this bug was marked incomplete at a point where there were
no confirmations. The fact that the image cannot be identified does not
mean this bug incomplete, however if you are able to find a picture, or
a series of steps to generate a picture file which will always be able
to reproduce

A - There are some "strange" behaviours with signal on Linux since the
advent of posix threads. I mean "strange" for programer that is used
with the simple fork()/wait()/exit().
What I just concluded with all of this, is :

I have the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04
I notice that gedit works fine, so I think the problem is only gvim + fuse ,
isn't it?

Once it recognizes that emails are there on the server, it must begin
downloading immediately, but rather it gets stuck by saying Fetching Mail (0%
