I'd like to note that until bug #418809 is fixed, I can't run a partial upgrade with this package pinned, as the pin will be ignored, and my package updated anyway. If that bug were to be fixed, I could at least conceivably work around this issue by keeping gnome-settings-daemon permanently pinned.
