a dependency in /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ubuntu-
artwork.gschema.override. This prevents the schemas from being built

Xrandr also works for me, in my case I did:
xrandr --output HDMI1 --left-of LVDS1
So, to me it appears to be the gnome-display-properties program that is
broken, since xrandr works w/no problems.

- When editing the Personal Information for my MSN account I add a picture

When I use xRandr standalone changing the monitor works fine. It's not docked.
It's a monitor attached with VGA.

When using the blank screensaver together with a gtk-theme with a
default pixmap background this pixmap is shown on the screen instead of
blanking. The reason for this is that the code for installing local
modifications to the gtk theme

What confused me was the date of the translation of that particular
string in LP (2006), but perhaps it had not been used since then and
upon adding the string for maverick an old translation had been reused.

I have the exactly same problem as described by Benjamin Humphrey and
Leon: my setup is a Lenovo X201 laptop in a docking station, with the
monitor attached through Displayport. Graphical chipset as per dmesg :
Intel HD Graphics Chipset.
Same error in .xsession-errors, too.
