I still have the memory leak problem with an ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx.
The file version is 2.28.3.1-0ubuntu5.
After an hour of work, it raises 2gb of ram and after 2 hours it freezes my
computer with 2.8 gb of ram unless I kill the process once.
It seems that after I kill the process, it never happ

lock the drive after creating it.
I have just discovered another way to get this error:
1) Plug in a LUKS encrypted disk
2) At the password prompt unlock it (Disk will mount and be displayed on the

OK, lets try this the old-fashioned way.
Open a terminal window and type:
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
sudo ldconfig

So I added a web radio station, and it asked me if I wanted to search
for a suitable plugin/codec. It then popped up an "Install Multimedia
Packages" dialog which "gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3",

I just upgraded to Maverick beta and the bug has come back because
Maverick now uses version 2.31 of librsvg so the patch needs to be
applied to that new version.

This is still a bug in 10.10 beta-1, unbelievable! Who must we bribe to
fix this bug? Or at least review the patch I posted four months ago?
Excuse me for the tone but this is pretty basic stuff. The bug has been
reported, patches proposed, what else does it take?

In case there was any confusion, instead of going up to preferences, I
am using the right click menu to get to appearance. The preferences
entry is the one I almost never think to use.
