Can you provide a sample ogg file (or a link to one)? I have also read
about the new ffmpeg2theora 0.27 and it's support for the new ogg
skeleton4 data (in fact I filed bug #624742 ), but I'm not sure if this
is enabled by default or whether an option needs to be specified at run-

It looks like the problem is that Nautilus is version 2.31 (so Maverick
version). It makes sense, cause it offered me a partial update. I think
you'll get the same problem if u replace ur Nautilus with 2.31! But
reinstalling replaces it with the same version. I would like to get back
to 2.30, which

I did use Vi to manipulate the file, which itself creates a full,
temporary copy of the file while the file is being edited. However, it
would be nice if gedit had some provision to deal with "large" files.

files like 10-15 minutes. Big files like one hour are bad. I do not know
if resolution make any difference, i use 720 × 576.

Hi Pedro
I have run an update and upgrade this morning and tried again. The
evolution address book no longer segfaults and works as it should. I
will test over the next couple of days. If needed i can downgrade the
evolution to get the backtrace but as it is fixed now with the new
version being 2.
