Had just upgraded from 10.04 UNR to the Alpha of 10.10
My user, after the restart, would (and still) just keep spawning "File Manager
Starting..." windows. Also of note, the interface is the standard desktop one,
not Unity or the old UNR style.
I was able to print this file in colour on my Canon i965 with Ubuntu
10.04 "Lucid Lynx". I'm using the Canon BJC-8200 Foomatic driver.

Today I have had some time to investigate this problem. It seems the bug
originates from glib and is not actually a bug in nautilus, the reason
is that mount points that are mounted with the bind option dont the a
GMount mount point assigned from glib.

I do not have any experience with IPv6, but I checked the output from
sysctl -A and looked into /etc/hosts. It seems as if IPv6 is not
disabled in my system, as there are these 3 lines:

I've just tested this with Ubuntu 10.10 alpha 2 updated to the latest
versions of poppler and Evince. This bug is now fixed.

I have this bug on eog with my lucid lynx and CR2 files.
The images in "landscape" mode are well displayed.
But all the "protrait' image are mirrored and not autorotate (thanks to the
exif tag).
