I made a test user account and while the panel appearance was slightly
different the result was the same. Excessive CPU usage and a locked
panel. ALT+F2 terminal -> kill X fixed it. So whatever it is is
instantly reproducible on my machine.
If doing the same on any other machine does not reproduce
Weird. polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 should definitely be running,
and though starting it doesn't solve your problem.
What does users-admin and /usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-
authentication-agent-1 output if you start them in a terminal (the
second first), and reproduce the bug?

The ISOs that I burned don't boot from BIOS
Also, the 'closing disk' operation doesn't work on K3b, and the disks burned in
Brasero don't seem to be closed.

I am currently having this issue. I am running 10.04 with all current
updates on a Dell Inspiron 1721 (AMD) laptop. When I try and copy/move
files/folders in nautilus, it transfers the files, but with no dialog.
Nautilus eventually freezes up and has to force closed. Doesn't matter

I'm experiencing this issue too, with an Intel 965 VGA. Moreover, since the
upgrade to Lucid I have also experienced simlar graphics problems with other
