I can confirm this with a MacBook Pro 5,3. It was working fine in
Karmic, best I can remember.
The battery indicator does not show. If I select 'Always display an
icon' in the Power Management preferences, a 'plug' indicator appears
showing that I am charging even though I am running on battery.
Same issue on a Macbook Pro 5,3.
However, doing a cat of /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/* did not make the
batter notification appear when booting and operating solely from the
battery.

Also got the problem here. I thought it to be Bug #432631, but this
description fits better.
export no_proxy=$(echo $no_proxy | sed 's/,$//')
Does help to alleviate the problem, but does not fix it. Thats why I think both
this bug and #432631 is the culprits in breaking apt through a proxy in 10.
It's only invalid for compiz, which is true, but me I don't understand why
is the importance "low"?

Tray Icons take theyr background color from theme's window background
color. Try to change to dark grey (#3C3B37) window background color and
all icons will look fine.

Empathy freezes computer completely seconds after starting.
There are not messages in console and I can't switch to consoles with
