Tried today on Lucid (released version) Problem remains.
So, we now have Gnome 2.30, but the behaviour is exactly the same as 6 months
ago. Now there are no time excuses (see #8), it's been 6 full months, and we
have the same extremely annoying bug (I don't agree at all with Imprortance:
low). C
OK, reopening then. But don't hope anybody will fix this. This package
is not shipped in the default desktop, maybe it should have been removed
on upgrade. Documentation is almost useless as it merely spells what is
in the UI, and nobody will work on that since the tool is deprecated.

I just rebuilt/packaged cdrkit from svn and the issue seems resolved. I
was able to burn an audio cd with no issues. The manual eject error is
still present, but that is resolved in a kernel update using

That text comes from rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store, adding tasks for
the upstream project and the Ubuntu package.
I guess the text should be wrapped or a line break should be added to
the original English text. Wrapping would work best for translations, if
it's possible.

I have probably clicked the "empty trash" menu item of the panel-applet
the first time. This will not bring up the indicator icon in the tray
bar. However when I do this now, the window is still in the window list
