Upstream ack'ed the patch and committed it with a slight refinement,
confirmed that the password shouldnt' be there at all (it's not a (bad)
design choice to make those extra keyrings work), and I tested the hell

mobilin engines.

The issue is not a nautilus one in any case if gvfs-monitor doesn't list
the change either, is there anything special in that directory?

could you run gvfs-monitor-dir on the directory and see if that see the
changes correctly?

nautilus cannot mount location but samba_client can

This bug should fixed in the way that there will be, in "Mouse
Preferences" dialogue, a blank tab labelled "Pointers" containing a hint
describing about "Preferences -> Appearance ->" and/or one buttom
opening at least the "Appearance" dialogue or direct the "Customize ->
Pointer" tab.

the issue is probably a duplicate the dialog should let the choice to
select a software if none is installed
