I'm having the same problem with Lucid (>80G). The screen becomes
unresponsive. My NFS server's hard drive is grinding away, and system
monitor shows network traffic in the ~100KiB/s range, so I guess it'll
eventually finish if I just let it be for a few hours.

Do you have a multi screen setup?
I've the same problem on lucid using intel drivers and xv.
XV doesn't work using gstreamer or vlc.
When disabling the 2nd monitor xv works fine in vlc, but gstreamer seems to
activate the 2nd monitor uppon playback.

I've found my problem by installing the Alternate CD. The drive was
registering as part of a software raid set-up, although it wasn't being
used in a raid arrangement and hadn't been for several years. The
Alternate CD picked this up and overcame it, but the Live CD didn't trap
it. So at least I ca

Hi, when I am trying to print the attached PDF-file to my laser printer
(Samsung CLP-550), the file size "explodes" an printing failes. - I
guess, a -ps.file reflects the final printing file size. The attached

The application will freeze without excessive processor usage.

I bet the papercut team would reject it as-is on the grounds that it's
not trivial to fix. In case someone finds the upstream compiz commit
that fixes it, cherry picking that commit might be trivial enough to
merit a papercut though.
