Moving the buttons left is a *big* step ahead. User look from the top-left to
bottom-right. Currently I am a KDE-user (Kubuntu) but will switch to GNOME
with lucid. Aligning the title left is also a very good idea. I never liked
centered titles.

Thanks for the report. I think there are several different issues at
stake here.
First, when creating an user, its main group is creating under the hood
by adduser, and we don't show it until the tool is restarted. This is a
known problem, but it's not easy to fix properly, at least in a stable

I confirm this is still an issue with current Lucid: the font color has
changed, from black to slightly lighter gray on my system. I'm using
Ambiance where the text color should be white (I think - the
"Appearance" dialog doesn't have an option to show/configure the menu
colors).

Just upgraded from Karmic to Lucid. Happened on first reboot, this is
the 2nd time on the 3rd reboot. Gnome Desktop didn't come up on the 2nd
reboot, had to do a recovery repair.

I patched it to use icedax and it works now for me.
Maybe brasero should depend on icedax by default as rhythmbox also uses brasero
to copy audio CDs.
(which doesn't work, it creates a new CD with sr0 as a file to copy)
