UPDATE!!! I don't know why it kept the scrubber bar from moving, but the audio problem has gone away. The problem, apparently, was that I had the Jack server running while trying to play Rhythmbox mp3 files. Stopping the Jackserver and closing QJackctl made Rhythmbox work properly. I don't rem
