I have the same problems
Nautilus crash when trying to open the "Trash" folder, and it only crashes if
there is items in the "Trash" folder, otherwise it opens fine.
It also crashes when trying to connect to remote server.
After a crash all the desktop icons is gone.
Attached is a valgrind.log
I applied the above remedy regarding the libglib2.0-0 and nautilis is behaving
now.

This bug effects me on Lucid AMD64. It is reproducible; Any time I play
any song Rhythmbox shows up using 50% in top. I have two cores, AMD
Athlon 64 x2 3800+. I have tested both OGG and FLAC audio, and it
effects both of them.

I am experiencing that this is not just a hidden error. My Gnome-Do
Docky is badly affected. It seems that it starts up a double process
which causes the dock to disappear at random times, and sometimes not at
all at startup. (a random behaviour). This is worked around by opening
the process manage
I don't think we should pursue a solution that has "normal users" doing
one thing and "advanced users" stuck with a terminal. There must be a
solution that "normal users" find easy to use and "advanced users"
appreciate.

I confirm that this is still an issue in Karmic and in Lucid alpha 2.
Typically it occurs when multiple users want to edit a file and
therefore make it -rw-rw-rw-. A usecase is a notes.txt that has to be
editable from a Live-CD and your normal account.
To reproduce:

2 sudo c
Just install Percellite by default (MIR) and we are done! No need for

- evince crashes when opening DVI without Valgrind;
- it displays fine when slowly opening DVI using Valgrind;
- after that the same DVI document still opens correctly when running without

Filters like '(W)' do work now, but also match 'WW', because the
brackets are interpreted as special characters of a regular expression.
