For further information about papercuts criteria,
import works fine if telepathy-idle is installed (empathy 2.29.5) but if
telepathy idle is not installed then still empathy gives the option to
import irc account and does not add it. The upstream bug is the same.

Interestingly , with gnome 3 , the "Win" key does now infact open the
applications menu, by default.
Now is it still forbidden in gnome 2... ;)

I've updated a little the description since the feature is only
officially available in Lucid, so no need to disturb people with Karmic
issues.
I guess one way of fixing this would be, as you say, to show the options
before an user is chosen. Not sure that fits well in the code's design.

Exactly the same problem here. I've tried the last 3 generation of Ubuntu on my
EeePC 1000H, but none of them has been able to run the action assigned to a

gnome-screensaver")? If it is not running, then you might be hitting the
timeout of the built-in Xorg screensaver, which gnome-screensaver
normally disables. If it is, then please kill it, and run:

I am having the same problem with a USB HDD Apacher Steno 320GB. No
drives are mounted, and the system's load average boosts up 200%! It

ugly ... the upper dependencies are defined in eglibc. so the correct
upgrade procedure should have been for eglibc:
- make an 2.11 test build, ensuring these symbols still exist
- upload an 2.10.x build with s/<<2.11/<< 2.12)
- binNMU all packages with <<2.11 dependencies
- upload 2.11 with <
I just ported the Python testcase to raw C code. The bug can also be
reproduced here. Everything is fine in Karmic, but in Lucid, the widget
names are not set.
This means that it's not actually a bug in PyGTK, but GTK itself.
