Further update: I've managed to get flash working fine in Firefox, here's what
I did:
I'm using Opensuse 11.2, kde 4.3, compiz 0.8.4, firefox 3.5.5
Using YaST I deleted all flash packages. Downloaded the latest Flash from Adobe
as a tar.gz, extracted the contents, then, using super-user mode in m

I have the following error in 9.10 running on Dell Mini 10v
"Error connecting to camera. Received error "Could not lock the device"
while connecting to camera".
I receive the above error when taking the following steps.
1. Connect camera (Nikon P5100) via USB to the laptop
2. Turn on the camera
The version of F-Spot in post #32 is 0.6.1.5.
I have not found a way to change the camera to work from PTP mode to
another mode (e.g., MTP).

The fact that it updates on the fly may be an intended feature but typing in a
proxy and not using it is a serious bug.
If you have different proxies you can't have the "Use the same proxy" checked
and if you disable the checkbox you loose the internet connection.

as for a workaround for opera: it basically works the same as with
firefox (exporting GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1). The file to do this is
/usr/lib/opera/operapluginwrapper. I added it right before the "exec"

I have no trouble importing from a folder. I click on "import" , the
import window comes up and I select from "Import Source", "Select
Folder". the drop down box shows no camera and I click on "select
folder" again and nautilus pops up so I can choose the source folder. Is
