I tried that - first time I've ever tried building a package "at home",
by the way.
The dpkg-buildpackage failed with the error
tail: cannot open `debian/changelog' for reading: No such file or directory

Have noticed that in Karmic, the catalog no longer loads for Magnatune.
I fixed it on my machine by running:
mkdir ~/.cache/rhythmbox/magnatune
This appears to have worked, as now the catalog loads.
Not sure why it doesn't create the directory by default.

Under Ubuntu 9.10, if I try to load the Magnatune catalog via the
Magnatune plugin, it never completes. I tried several approaches to
resolve this, but none of them seemed to work. All I got was a "Loading
catalog, please wait" with no catalog l
I resolved it by doing the following:
mkdir ~/.cache/rhythmbox/magnatune
It appears the directory isn't created automatically. Once I created
this directory, I was able to download the catalog without a problem.

I'm on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) using Gnome 2.28.1 and the included
Nautilus. To get around brainstorm #456 I have multiple nfs mounts in
fstab with noauto and user options similar to:
server:/srv/archive /home/user/server/archive n
The original bug report concerned the problem related to resuming if
power unplugged while suspended and if I understand, it is still an
issue for some users.
The problems related to closing lid might be related, but maybe it would
make sense to keep it as a separate bug report or at least not to
David's proposal sounds like a good suggestion.

there are already several bugs refering to power management issues. after
doing my own research, most of this bugs are just different combinations of
issues with lids, suspend, and AC/batt. (power management)
