both movie player, and VLC will consistently display this behaviour with
any video file played.

I had this problem, and after reading all this comments, i decided to
give it a try to the reconfiguration of fstab
I went from 4 MB to a steady 30MB (this is the REAL max throughput of a
USB device in USB 2.0)
It worked perfectly. Also, setting my SATA Ports to use 32 bit and it
made it a little

Not all the avi videos that can cause the flashing problem, but all the
avi videos that downloaded from my school's FTP cannot be played properly.
However most of these videos that be played fluently by media player
classic, a free video player by GCC on Window

Two weeks ago a friend of mine was using the GIMP to choose a nice
color. When he found a color he liked, he copied the hexcode of the
color, closed the GIMP and wanted to paste the color in KompoZer. As you
can guess this was impossible. It happened a few times to him and he
