The gstreamer-properties workaround fixes the problem with things that
use gstreamer with xv, but I'm still seeing this problem with other
applications that use xv -- so it looks to me like the problem is not in
totem or gstreamer. MPlayer, for example, shows this problem with "-vo

I observed the same problem on a Dell Inspirion 6000 although it shows the
battery at around 40%.
What is much more annoying than the message, in the last session with AC power
plugged in and 100% charged battery, the system siren (beeeuuubeeeuu ...) for
a critically low battery appeared twice
In Karmic it seems to keep separate settings for the link. If I open the link
and select a view, it's remembered.
If I visit that folder through its path, though, it has separate settings.
So I can no longer reproduce this in Karmic.

No. The is already mounted with "uid=1000,umask=0111,dmask=", but if
a file is set read only in the filesystem, it is also write protected
with linux for all users. This especialy happens to the "My Documents"
and related Windows-System folders, after Windows has done changes to
them. Running "
