Thanks for the suggestion, however hanging the volume via the panel
icon is easy enough for now - I merely submitted the bug report in the

I've tried to add "acpi_sleep=s3_mode" to my kernel boot parameters,
adding Option "NvAGP" "1" to xorg.conf and updating my bios to the
latest available, but nothing made any difference.

I'm attaching the patch I'm using for F-Spot to not automatically adjust
timestamps. Just in case Ubuntu ever wants to just temporarily fix this
downstream for now, or if anyone just wants to take a look and hack
away.

I have a hp color laserjet 2550L using the standard drivers and it's still not
working. I updated ubuntu with the latest patches and I even restarted my
computer. Still no GO. When I launch the print dialog the dialog hangs for a
few seconds (greyed out) while fetching printer information. Then
@mac_v. thanks to clarify.
side-note: it did occurred to my mind calling imbeciles imbeciles was
rude, sorry about it ;-)
