I have at least one contact where their birthdate is missing. In my
case, two contacts share October 21st, one 1981-10-21, the other
1977-10-21. Both are in the same group. the 1981 date was missing on
the calendar, so I changed back to 9-21 and forwards again and it
appeared to resolve the issue

I can confirm this in Hardy and Karmic.
VERY annoying bug. More noticeable on a laptop than a desktop as
laptops are turned on and off so often; laptops are also slower to find

I have my computer joined to a Microsoft domain which has a 90 day
password change policy. When my account gets within 14 days of that
password expired time, I get a "Your password will expire in 14 days" at

It's wonderful of you to try to help. I'm not sure what I was doing when
a message box popped up asking me to send an error report message. I
accept that this bug can't be solved. Please feel free to close the bug

I think we should discuss each case.
As a first step we should talk about Ubuntu packages from the main
repository.
I don't know if Ubuntu package mainainers will be happy to patch each
package so that it will not build the HE translations.

I installed all necessary software, ready to do a backtrace.
But...
I'm more or less happy to tell you this crash happened only once till now. Just
after the first restart after the update from 8.04 to 9.04.
Did some short testing with changing all butt
