does not actually fill the screen, it just removes the rounded corners,

I have similar problem. I am assuming it is same as this bug because the
messages in dmesg led me here (via Google Search). I initially thought
the drive was faulty but it is not the case.

Hello. The bug is always reproducible. It's happening after booting the
system.
To reproduce is simply double click on the USB disk image on the desktop or
select it from nautilus. The disk has 500 GB.

also exchange version is 2007, so connecting to it through owa/exchange
connector doesn't work,so mapi is my only way ( imap works, but no
calendar, contacts etc.)

If you logout -> 'logout anyway' then back in etc, it is no longer a
problem .'. presumably only starting at start-up

In several applications (gedit, evolution, full screen f-spot picture
browsing) if you click a menu item you then have to move the mouse
cursor at least one pixel before being able to click it again. The most
trivially reproducible example of this is the "Create New Document"
Actually I *think* this behavior has changed in Karmic because we fixed
some bug with the GtkTreeModelFilter. The groups view was intended to
work that way, but it was broken until now. You can show all the groups
and users by going into gconf-editor and changing /apps/gnome-system-
tools/users/sho
