I even adjusted the message files, except for the Azerbaijani (az) one,
as that uses different wording for the two existing lines, and I have no
clue why that's the case. Some other languages were changed from fixed

Similar behavior happens here with Karmic alpha 5 amd64. The show "Nice"
column setting is not persistent. It works but once you quit the system
monitor, when you open it again the Nice column is not shown anymore and
you have to activate it again in the preferences.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would
be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people

No special characters in the folders.
As for what folders, I just realized that it's only happening in my
linked folders (symbolic links) that I have coming from my main
partition. All regular folders in my home directory have no issues at
all.
