When navigating folders containing many files, Page Up and Page Down
keys behavior is inconsistent with arrow keys. Arrows move the selection
to the next file, and if needed, scroll the viewport so it is visible.
However, PgUp/PgDn simply scroll

Keyboard navigation with PgUp/PgDn doesn't move selection

I'm enclosing an strace that shows the sequence of events:
1) nautilus running in the background as normal
2) start strace
3) open a folder
3) wait for folder to become responsive
4) close the folder
5) hit CRTL+C to stop strace
The problem occurs even when viewing an empty folder.

Hi Scott, I've upgraded Karmic with the latest everything, including
GNOME 2.27.91, and the inhibit applet still does not work - without the
inhibit applet I close the lid and the computer suspends, I install the
inhibit applet, turn it on, close the lid and the computer suspends
again.
