I can confirm this bug. It seems to only occur (for me at least) with
mp3 files, ogg files don't seem to cause the error. The error message
appears when trying to access the properties of a subsequent song (ogg
or mp3) after changing the properties of a mp3 song. The properties are
changed and s
speedhawk, have you tried to reproduce this problem in newer Ubuntu
Karmic version (up to date), because according to your report you are
not using last rhythmbox version (0.12.3-1). Please upgrade your system
and send a coment if this problem persist.

Yes. Today I downloaded Ubuntu 9.04 and booted from a CD ROM. The CD-ROM
contained gstreamer-properties so I was able to test directly for the problem
