even allow you to log in with a typed-in username. Which is kind of a
separate bug, but not really entirely since if this delay wasn't there,

As Sebastien said, the bug is fixed upstream, you only need to wait for

I have applied this to Karmic, but not hard-coded the number. It will
always be set 1/4 of the actual amount of memory. So no problem for
computers with less memory (but do not try to use an A0 printer on a
machine 64MB of memory).

It looks like the "vbrfix" program available through Synaptic fixes this
issue - that is, after processing an MP3 file with vbrfix, the track time
is correctly reported.

Απο το ονομα καταλαβενω οτι εισαι ελληνας εγω ρωτησα αρχικα για αυτο το θεμα
μπορεις σε παραπαλω να με βοηθισεις (αν θες και ξερεις κατι παραπανω) βασικα
ειναι προβλημα σε ολα τα pdf που δοκιμασα οποτε δεν νομιζω να ειναι προβλημα

Honestly, it looks like this bug has lived forever because it's assigned
to the wrong component. I'm sure Sound Juicer can be patched to
accurately create the null frame - I don't think this is a problem with
the gstreamer framework or how its invoked at all.
