*by name*. If you rename the file to something else then gedit treats it
as a new file and sets the cursor position to a "safe position", If you
rename it back and try to load it, gedit tries to use the cursor

I am using a wireless router at home that is connected to the DSL
router. I am not sure but is this a possible reason for this issue? I
remember connecting to Ekiga in the same network configuration before i
had upgraded to 9.04.

I set Ekiga up with the SIP I created some time back, and it keeps responding
that it cannot register my username at ekiga.net.

Dear michael, thanks for you pacient but debug gnome is not so easy and
canonical don't have enough resources for check all reports, but anyway
have you tried with newer ubuntu versions if that problem is still
occurring? if this problem is ocurr please check previous link that was
posted ;-)

When you double click on i.e. an Open Office document, Open office is
started as it should. Since Open Office takes a few moments to load it
would be great to have some visual feedback with the mouse pointer
saying "it is started", maybe a busy-cursor for
... and of course the last one did work now ... :) (the double click)

The issue is Ekiga did not received any packets from the internet. It is
interesting as, correct me if I'm wrong, the same computer using Windows
with Ekiga do work.
Relevant line in the output:
packetsReceived = 0
The RTP session for audio was:
RTP_UDP Session 1, SetRemoteSocketInfo: data chan

Here, I hope this is what you meant. Another Nautilus backtrace like the
one above, with libglib2.0-0dbg installed (Wasn't sure how I'd get a
backtrace on something I've never used, let alone crashed)
