I think Nautilus' behaviour is correct. The behaviour is by design, and
the "confirm_trash" option is doing what it is supposed to do: Request
confirmation for the non-revertable actions "Delete Trash" and "Delete

I am experiencing the same issue, baobab is missing a lot of data, even
when I run baobab as root (sudo baobab).
In this case, /media/disk is an NTFS partition on the same drive that
ubuntu is installed on (Dual Boot), but I can replicate this issue on

When I mark an email (I'm using GMail) as read in Evolution the email is
not marked as read when I check GMail via browser.
I have checked value of sync_interval in gconf-editor -- it is set to
30. So I wait 30s ->

I agree with roffik. I find this behaviour very irritating when on windows,
and unnecessary in gnome for two reasons:
1. This behaviour is triggered accidentally far more often than I actually want
to rename files
2. Pop up menus are much quicker in gnome than on windows as the menus pop up

When right clicking on a file in nautilus and selecting "Send to ..."
the "Send as" combo box only offers to send the file with Evolution, to
a removable drive or to the DVD creator.
It would be great if it also supported sending files with Thunderbird.
