I am setting this to invalid because I noticed that, when I tried to update my
system, I had a previous dpkg interrupted.
After "dpkg ---configure -a", "apt-get update" and "apt-get dist-upgrade", when
I restarted X, my theme was back to normal and I was able to change window
borders.

The nautilus-menu-provider only provides a function to ADD menu items.
But if we want to replace/rename a menu item, it would need some dirty
hacks in Nautilus!
Also nautilus-cd-burner is depreciated, and will be replaced by Bra
nautilus-cd-burner is going to be dropped from GNOME/Ubuntu, and the fix

This was my first ever bug report on Launchpad. I did not intentionally

which no longer exists. It should only require a rebuild but there seems
to be an API change in the new gdl which is breaking the build:

I agree with this being severe. It is awful trying to show your family a
slideshow of photos, and makes Ubuntu look bad. The upstream patch is
nearly there I think... the developers made some recent comments about
wanting to get this bug fixed.

I don't see this as being a gnome-screensaver related issue since,
although I have witnessed gnome-screensaver cause the issue I have also
seen it triggered periodically (including just now) where a connection
dies suddenly between the windows RDP server and the rdesktop client and
again mouse/kbd

I think those users need to learn how to use a search engine or
reference manual. Assuming that an archive is always for compressing a
file, thought, "compressed file" could replace it.

This is not exactly true, i saw the tunnel screensaver there, and i know
that screensaver has settings!
also system installs the other screensavers, popsquares for example, but we
can't use it cause its initial is lowercase and the interface don't load
them
i think it is not logic to install some
Two fresh installs of Jaunty and this bug persists also I'm not sure if
this is because of this bug, but I thought it might be worth mentioning,
that I get no preview images in the gnome-appearance-properties when
browsing icons some do appear for controls but not all. screenshots:
