No, it is definitely not fixed.
Here are the steps to reproduce it in Ubuntu 9.04:
1. open GEDIT
2. click SAVE
3. click on a folder
4. notice that the filename is still highlighted but your typing will go
to the treeview filter instead to the filename (wrong focus)

I think the best fix would be to make nautilus scan files for the
shebang AND have executable permissions before asking. The issue is atm
files copied from NTFS partitions, etc. have all permissions enabled and
so it asks for execution on every file, checking for the #! is much
better behaviour IMO

To make it clear: The current brightness level is not saved at all on shut down.
The setting is read out of System -> Preferences -> Power Management -> "Set
display brightness to:"

I think this item is not a "low" priority bug.
I've switched to XFCE because of this.
Majority of users saves things on desktop (firefox's default download
folder) and it is very annoying to see my dekstop messed up a lot of
times because I save images and the icons got stretched automatically. I
