This bug is now fixed on my system.
It was very frustrating for a dual monitor user.

which I installed in a recent update. Previously I saw no events on my
calendar, now I see them all. I compared my previous calendar.ics file

floppy drives. I'm not sure if a bug report for that exists already, but
I mentioned it to davidz a few weeks ago on IRC, and he's already aware

Same situation here. I believe in my case, this is triggered by turning
effects On (System > Preferences > Visual Effects), and subsequently
turning Visual Effects back off. While 'On', ALT key combos work fine.
Then when turned off, ALT is ignored. Pressing ALT-TAB twice when focus

Turing Visual Effects On and back off, has restored some of the key
