Shouldn't this be elevated to a security issue and get a higher

it can be read without further interaction if I have already typed my

I had the same problem, was fixed according to Keith's instructions on
changing the owner. I agree that this problem shouldn't be happening
with such fundamental system components like dbus and gconf.

A similar bug was present in Hardy (the trash icon didn't reflect the fact that
trash was empty or full but you had either to click on it, to fix the issue, or
restart the session or the system).
I made some tests on Jaunty but I hadn't able to reproduce the issue in this
distro.

I need this badly because when my grandfather watches a movie on
