Confirming this on Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04)!!! Very annoying bug. My home
directory was full of trash and many jar simply did not start when
double clicking and I didn't knew why until I run java -jar with the
full path from a console. This bug exists for 12 months. :-(

When trying to fast forward watching a movie pressing the right arrow
key, totem starts the movie from the beginning. When trying to place the
movie cursor with the mouse, it does the same thing and the movie starts
from the beginning

I confirm the bug, I get the exact same symptoms as jlaroche on Jaunty.
I investigated after I realized I wouldn't get sound alerts for new
email in evolution.
