Ok finally figured out how to make it work.
Play something that is present in the already generated automatic playlist
(such as most recently added) and while something is playing from this list you
can create an automatic playlist.

thinkfinger is working great except for unlocking the screensaver.

Yes, as soon as the directory is opened, the file is visible, and the
count is refreshed on the directory icon on the Desktop.

Also, if the above steps are followed with the added variable of having
the "test" directory open in a nautilus window, then the count updates
as expected as soon as the file is saved.

file would be.
If Debian already has this same fix in native code, then I agree, that's
the way to go.

Accepted ekiga into jaunty-proposed, the package will build now and be

Binary package hint: ekiga
In Xubuntu, the .desktop file is at it's right place under
/usr/share/applications but it does not appear in the menus due to a
difference in the menu structure, between Ubuntu and Xubuntu
(Gnome/Xfce4) I suppose.
So I did this :
