All I can do at the moment is reproduce the following.
Make a selection (Like star rating 1 *)
Make sure that there is only one photo.
Then Open that photo in large (not thumbnail) mode

I checked with 'xev', that X keyboard events are correctly generated due to
keystokes, but are completely ignored by Metacity.
After killing metacity (it restarted automatically, of course), hotkeys are
working fine again.

Still having this issue in Jaunty... I was hoping upgrading to Jaunty would fix

Steps to reproduce:
1) Start Baobab
2) Goto Edit -> Preferences and untick some device you have mounted. Close
dialog.
3) Click on "Scan Folder" and select the path to the mounted device you
unticked in [2].
4) Crash.

I changed the preferences so that they would only scan a usb mounted
disk when doing a file system scan. It immediately crashed after
closing the dialog and now crashes on launch. It makes no differences
if the drive is mount
