fair enough. under intrepid I was able to change the name of the
location to something more meaningful. in this particular case all I
wanted to do was change the orthography of the name.
I've just discovered I can get round it by creating a new location with
my desired name, and then copying the

8.10 the cpu was still high and I saw this was caused by vino. After
disabling it from the system preferences menu "remote desktop", the cpu

I can confirm the issue. Ubuntu 9.04. It works fine with 8.04, which I
will continue to use because of this bug.

Aha. Yes, the problem *is* the text. Currently, the destination reads:
"Email (Evolution)." This is confusing because it led me to assume that
Thunderbird was not being supported.
Perhaps it should not have the parenthetical remark to avoid confusion?

The reason I went with 8.04 LTS was I wanted to be able to stay with the
same version. What happened to the long term support (LTS)?
I don't want to have to rebuild my Linux system every 6 months.
