It seems as if both gvfs 0.2.5-0ubuntu4 (hardy-proposed) and gvfs
1.0.2-0ubuntu3 (intrepid-proposed) does the trick. I can now connect to
a https webdav share going thru Places -> Connect to Server.. -> Secure

Found a way around the bug.
Edit -> Preferences -> Editor:
-> Tab Size: 4
-> [x] Insert spaces instead of tabs
-> Close
After this is set, you have to go through your code and re-tab
everything for it work :/
