Upstream reported this crash was replaced with a memory leak. Testing
in Jaunty (gconf-editor 2.26.0) fails to reproduce the crash. Closing
as the memory leak is a very minor issue and is tracked upstream.

More information. deskbar-applet works when launching from terminal and adding
to panel, but it crashes when launching from "Run" - (alt-F2). I tried to run
in with Alt-F2 in gdb and got the same stackrace. Does anybody know what is the
difference between console launch and "Run"?

I'm using a toshiba laptop operating jaunty beta.
the system detects my laptop screen's resolution as 1024x768 which is wrong
(the resolution is also wrong on the GDM)
I manually change that, with "display preferences" tool to 1280x

I have the same problem since the most recent update to the gnome-
keyring package (2.26.0-0ubuntu4) - now the gnome-keyring-daemon is not
started when I log in. however, if I run it from the terminal I get the

gnome-panel kept the panels on Xinerama screen #0 (or RandR output #0),
while Jaunty's version keeps them on the LVDS, which flips between being
Xinerama screen #0 and #1. Intrepid's version did not have a problem
