Deleting the file ~/.local/share/rhythmdb.xml solved the issue.
Unfortunately, all the play counts are gone. It still seems to be a non-

Currently, I can get out of this bug by killing the process manually.

Then, gnome-applets will ask you to reload it again, Press "Reload", it
