Same problem here.
I just installed Ubuntu Jaunty and i had this problem 3 times in a day.
It occurs randomly. When it happens, i can't use panel (except for the
fast-user-applet), I can't use Alt+F2, and when I try to logout it asks me to
force closing Panel.

After having more trouble with the kernel which prevented me from
starting, the error disappeared after a system repair. I repaired the
installation via the chroot option from the alternate CD and ran a

This situation is ridiculous. I had to abort the action I was doing and
go do it from the console several times now. Date changed and size would
be nice to have, but knowing if the file being replaced is older is
absolutely essential.

1. Launch Rhythmbox.
2. Add any track(s) in any format that Rhythmbox can play (FLAC, MP3, Ogg
Vorbis...)
3. Play a track.
4. Select the track being played (or you can even select all tracks)

Steps to reproduce (at least on my machine):
1. Play music in a playlist with more than one track.
2. Click the play button again to pause the music.
3. Click next or previous.
Rhythmbox will start playing music if it skips to a new track.
