Indeed it's not sufficient any more to clean the translations in cdbs,
we need to do it in pkgstriptranslations. I'll move the code there.
Then we need to rebuild a couple of packages which still have their
translations in the .desktop.

I can confirm this bug when booting alpha5 and alpha6 live CDs inside a
vmware. However booting desktop pc using usb-stick alpha6 has no
problem. I think this bug is critical.

Hello I think this problem is not related to gnome-vfs or gvfs or anything of
gnome.
The issue here might be related with hal and lvm. Dmraid volumes are not known
to hal or lvm so they freak out when they scan your hard disks. In case of raid

I am seeing different behavior on two different systems. On my system
at home, my font sizes are "normal", but at work, my terminals are much
larger than they had previously been (and too large for the screen in my
