Hello,
Just open a video MP4 file with totem. Choose Preferences for videoviewing.
Make some changes for brightness, colour, contrast and after that you only
can close the window without saving the changes.
So, as long as your linux session lasts, the changes will stay in Totem, but
as soon as
I just tried fedora 10, same problem. will try to install gentoo or a
downgraded fedora, to see if the problem corrects.

The situation here is deteriorating: My NWZ-S618F is now completely
useless: Nautilus tries to open it as "gphoto2://[usb:002,006]/",
Rhythmbox won't recognize it as an audio player, and the workaround
presented in this bug no longer works.

I have the same terrible bug on my last patched gutsy.
When I unset global proxy through gnome-network-preferences, the http_proxy &
ftp_proxy & https_proxy variable has the same previous assigned values. Perhaps
the apps says that they are unassigned.
And so I have to force the cleaning of these

I wonder then of the application itself has to propagate the event to
it's parent (panel) in which case it knows of the event and consequently
executes the autohide code.
